“Design is an expression of purpose. It may, if it is good enough, later be judged as art.”
— Charles Eames

Overlooked is an exhibition of neon rubbings of London’s street covers by Pentagram Partner Marina Willer. The show follows the success of Marina’s Pentagram Paper by the same name, which marked her first exploration into the gatekeepers of London’s underground world as iconic pieces of industrial design.

The exhibition sees the launch of a new series of rubbings, which place different street covers on top of each other for the first time. Running from 22 to 25 September, Overlooked is part of London Design Festival and is hosted by Protein Studios in Shoreditch.

The Overlooked booklet and a limited number of posters will be for sale at the exhibition and on our website.
